What we do
FileTransferBox lets you send large files to anyone with a link or by email. You add files or a whole folder, up to 10 GB on the free plan, and we give you a download link. The person you send it to does not need an account.
We built it because sending a video or a project folder should not mean signing up for cloud storage, watching ads, or fighting attachment limits.
How it works
- Upload: your files travel to our servers over an encrypted HTTPS connection.
- Share: you get a link, and we can email it to up to 10 people for you.
- Protect: add a password for free. We store only a scrambled (hashed) version of it.
- Delete: when the link expires, the files and the transfer record are deleted automatically.
What we promise
- No ads on the upload or download screens.
- We never sell your files or your email address.
- We only use your email address to send transfer and download notices.

To report a transfer that breaks the law or our Terms, email support@filetransferbox.com with the download link. We review every report and remove illegal content.
